So much for the calls of " If it's wet, watch out for the "Giz" ??"
Costly blunder by the Triple 888 team with Whincup's fuel. |

Well **** me frosty actually manages to get a flag to flag win.
And once again the pretender crashney jags the c'ship lead. Still, at least the pretender didn't dodge the bullet after turning Caruso around. Amazed that it took the officals that long to ping him, considering that the hit by the pretender was on the D pillar. Mind you they still owe him after Townsville. The pass on W-cup was legit, and what, only the 2nd time this season the pretender has passed W-cup on the road. |

Well what a day.Thank you VESA(not). The on track comentator says what a top job the crowd on the hill had done to come out with the weather.so what do VESA do reward us with cancelling two races while repairs to fence and then when the repair is finished there is a break of 45 minutes of sitting in the rain with NOTHING on track not even poxy entertainment. The joke was as the repairs got the all clear from CAMS the Invertationals(targa class) were sent around the track and cancelled. And another little point why hold the podium on pit straight facing away from the hill facing all the corporates that probably have bugger all intrest other than the free entry, food and grog.No doubt about it paying customers are the Lower class. The Racing was brilliant when it was on in all fairness.

FPR has always considered it to be one of 'its' car, just like Stone Bros consider the Slade car to be one of 'theirs'. In any case, it is not often car 55 dosen't do well these days. |

It is very disappointing when the series broadcaster chooses not to televise the trophy ceremony at the end. The chance for teams to be introduced to the teev and thank their sponsors, the chance for the bosses of Falken to get their names out there too as event sponsor.. all gone..
The Indy people had this down to an art, a pukka ceremony, a changing of hats for photographic purposes (tyre supplier, spark plugs, batteries, engine supplier etc etc) all of which added to the show firstly, and also to the sponsor recognition to the fans and advertising to the general public Why oh why does this happen? No AFL this weekend.. but still Motorsport is trated as 2nd rate. Not really good enough huh |

I would like to say that the coverage was a bit better this round, given the fact that the rain made it difficult to see it tho.
Secondly, congratulations to M. CARUSO for his award in race 22. Most pit-stops. 7 Pit-Stops by lap 42. Still finished 20th. Great decisions made Gary. Might come back and snap him on the .... Well Done. |

We missed the last four laps all together. Southern Cross cut to an ad break. And it was Southern Cross to as the commentators did not throw to an ad, someone either thought it would be funny or pushed the wrong button.
So thanks again you bunch of monkeys. And to top it all off, half the ads were Community Service Announcements for idiots and/or begging for money. Income tax, GST, car rego, petrol tax, stamp duty, council rates - I don't have any left you clowns - leave me the hell alone to watch my racing! |
