The two Erebus Mercedes-Benz SLS's have changed their driver line up to Maro Engle who races for Erebus in the V8 Supercar Championship (has raced previously at Macau in f3 where his team mate was a even younger S.Vettel) and another young ace by the name of Renger Van Der Zande.

Very Interesting.
Two fastest Audi drivers in the field opting for 2012 configuration R8 LMS Ultra. Possibility of running without dive-planes as well! http://audi-motorsport-blog.blogspot...a-cars-on.html Shim Ching appears to be driving the recently sold R8 LMS chassis from Hitotsuyama. A franken-LMS of sorts, with the 2012 Ultra wing attached to 2011 R8 LMS with the final evolution packages. Same package as what the australian team Equity-One have? |

Some words a about the Audi driver stacking everyone up to get a clear run. I'd probably do the same! See what happens in qualifying tomorrow. I think it will be a much closer race. Interesting they are 7 seconds faster than Carrera cup last weekend already.

Interesting interview at the end of the race with Markus Henne of AMG China...
...who indicated that he is looking to increase AMG China's GT program in Asia... the way the conversation went, it wasnt as if Erebus was a walk up start at an involvement in that program... although he eventually said nice things about how they went in the Zhuhai & Macau events.. |
