Chat Room

For people who connect to #motorsport (and occasionally live chats in #motorsportextra) through your own IRC client - we have moved!

We can be now be found at irc.furion.org - so update your server details in your connection settings. If you have any problems, please post here!

For people that connect via the web link, nothing changes - click and join in.
During live chats that are taking in our secondary channel due to clashes of events, you will need to click the box titled "channel" and add "extra" to "#motorsport" - it'll be made clear in individual forums which events are taking place in #motorsportextra, so you only need to worry about that at the time.

Hope to see you ready for our launch event this weekend - the Le Mans 24hour race (in #motorsportextra), alongside the WTCC and F1 from Indy in the main channel.

We want your feedback!

Whilst the chat room uses the same technology as before there's been a few minor changes and addons. If you have any comments on them after the busy chat weekend with Le mans, please do let us know either here or via PM!

Of course, please do use this thread to make us aware of any problems you might experience.

Why does the skin I use on here get changed when I exit the Chat room?

I'm normally using SOLID, but each & every time I exit the CR, my skin changes!

Certain parts of the site have "forced" skins, this is usually "Liquid", unfortunately at the moment this does change your default style for the rest of the site. Personally I think "Liquid" is better, but everyone has their own preference.

For the time being, the only workaround is to just change your style back manually when you next access the forum.
