Spooky coincidences

I meant to post this last week.

I broke the earpiece for my scanner at the WTCC last weekend (post 39). The previous time I did WTCC, I was also on the last post before the startline (brands 25), and that was the time I broke the previous earpiece.

Also, I've been on post with a particular PC twice and ended up in med centre on both occasions (no, I wasn't asked to take the place of moved bollards or anything like that, it was carelessness on my part both times).

So, spooky coincidences or random events? Should I live up to my promise to refuse to go on post with Darren ever again?

Assuming that the broken earpiece and the trip to the med centre weren't connected to one another, (they weren't were they?) I would think that the safest course of action must be to borrow a scanner from someone else (Darren??) and then see what the jinx does.
