Not sure it means much ... I am a Mazda fan, so I have to bend backwards not to push too hard here ... but Bomarito and Nunez are quick drivers and there is nothing wrong with the old Lola chassis ... it is no less developed than the DPs ... and apparently Mazda's new motor actually works. We might have a serious contender here.
Let's see what happens when the normal front runners get it cranked up for quali. |

GTLM qualifying was great. Its about time they had a good one. Normally GTLM Q session in particular effectively done with more than 5 minutes left in the session still. This one went down to the wire. Kudos to everybody who got laps in the 1 min 17's. Not you Ferrari and Ford guys. You have work to do.

Auberlen showed proper enthusiasm for winning the pole.
The Ford looked to be bouncing all over the place out there. Don't know what's up with all that ... OH NO! A PC crashed .... the shock! |

perf tech gets its first pole because the#88 crashed and ended the session? Nope i guess they might have to restart for two minutes or it won't count.
