WSBK Round 13 - Magny Cours

Last round of the World Superbike championship. Biaggi has taken the rider's title and now looks to deliver the constructor's title to Aprilia.

I'm guessing most of the story lines will revolve around 2011, especially in light of the speculated turmoil at BMW.

Personally, I would like to end with a few good races, because the season has been a bit disappointing.

In supersport, it's Sofuoglu vs. Laverty.

No wonder Ducati pulled out, that bike is just dreadfully slow. They only have 5 of the top 8 positions in first qually.

Maybe it wont matter if the factory team pull out - other Duke's are quick!

Don't you know Dorna are biased against Ducati, what with all their preferential treatment of the brand in years past?

When the next Ducati superbike is released, will there be a racing version made to sell to independent teams I wonder, or will Ducati representation evaporate at that point, or will someone make a race version of the bike?

Fairly decent racing I thought. Magny Cours always seems to produce good WSB races. I like how you can hear the crowd go nuts above all the engine noise at the hairpin.

You should of heard it when Laconi was racing!!!

Especially when it went totally quiet after Toseland beat him and the Ducati management were annoyed in 2003? Was the most amazing bit of TV I ahve even seen, the look of total glumness on Tardozzi's face coz his man hadn't won!

Whatever I think of JT's lack of form recently, that momnet was uterly priceless!!

There's not much love out there for Toseland it would seem! Maybe he should stick to music?

It would be interesting to be part of the crowd just to sample the atmosphere, they seem to enjoy the racing. I've been to Magny Cours before but that was back in 2003 for something called F1. Dunno what I was thinking!

Strange isn't it? I nearly fell of me chair when I read reports he will probably be riding a priviteer BMW next season. His career may well be on a potential downward trajectory if he is not careful but then again it could be even worse, he could be Neukirchner or Xaus i.e. careers pretty much over now barring minor miracles!
