I haven't read anything, but I dread to think. The WORLD SUPERBIKE race is always ruined by LOCAL JAPANESE participants.

I want to see the best in the world fight it out, not a bunch of wild cards whose names I barely recognise!!!

yep, thought he would have been a certainty for 2nd castrol honda bike in 2002 - seems he let slip the 2001 jap sbk title and wasnt rewarded with a wsb ride.....

Personally I really enjoy watching the wildcards strut their stuff at Sugo. They might be the only way to beat Bayliss this year.

i think sugo should get rid of that mickey mouse chicane before start/finish straight - riders should be going flat out onto the straight

The best in the world can beat locals that's why they are in wsb? Sugo is difficult circuit, but i dont wanna hear excuse from true champ.

i think sugo is a great circult, and i personally would love to see wildcards up there again.
Last year I seem to remember that there was about 100 bikes on the grid, well maybe not that many but it seemd a lot, a big fright train all the way up the back straight.
And that crazy little uphill chicane, makes it always exciting.

Only one thing left to say!
GO DUNLOP!!

Things didn´t go quite so well for Eric Bostrom, the second Kawasaki wild card at Sugo. The reigning AMA Supersport 600 Champion struggled to find a workable set-up during the qualifying session, which resulted in him ending the day down in sixteenth place.

´It´s been a pretty miserable day,´ said a disappointed Bostrom. ´We went the wrong way with set-up for qualifying and took a major step backwards. We know what direction we need to go in with the bike to improve matters, and I´m hoping the team will be able to sort things out before qualifying gets underway again tomorrow.´
i didnt know eric was a wild card at sugo, yanagawas there too
