Well so far, age is proving no barrier to pole positions.

Neal has taken his first in 5yrs, following Smith's earlier this season.

I wonder if Plato found his driving style to be similar to Turkington's, which helped in car setup.
This year, they seem to have got the car right for Sutton - but his driving style may be different and so the setup won't work as well for Plato.

luckn002 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
So do we expect Morgan to keep his grid position after skipping the queue in qualifying?

Can't remember what happened when the same thing happened last year at Rockingham.

VWs disappointing, hopefully some better luck tomorrow.
MGs still way off the pace, wonder what the future holds for 888?
Great to see the Vauxhalls up there and Motorbase showing some pace (special mention to Davenport)

I think the lighter Goff will win race 1 tomorrow, certainly deserves a win judging by his pace this season!

Ballast doesn't seem to be hurting much either with Shedden and Ingram high up.

Matt Neal is 8th in the standings so he has almost no ballast too , a lights to flag win for him is on the cards

I noted there one of these grid pens for not slowing down for the yellow flag as Tom Chilton goes from 8th to 11th on the grid for race one for that reason.

Hopefully Neal won't win tomorrow I'd rather see Shedden or Goff winning.
This Subaru thing seems really intriguing. I can't understand how huge is the margin between Sutton and the rest. It looks as if they were driving two different cars...

Subaru doesn't appear to be that bad. Maybe Jason just can't drive RWD to the same level he could FWD.

Why is it the angry drivers are always the one who is in the wrong? Works for road rage too. If you're seriously angry, then you need to look at your own driving. Jake Hill drove into someone and then gets annoyed.

The MG may never see the track again. Back to the bent Sutton chassis from last season?

Could have been worse I guess, into the trees and ditch if it happened last season.

Most likely, the laps will be reduced for one/some of the support categories as opposed to the main game.

You know, the Subaru's are getting good launches, but the BMW's even better. Jordan's Race 2 start onboard sees him out drag Cole and catch up to Plato. Maybe all this time, it's a WSR genius set-up and not just RWD?

From what I've seen on TV it looks like it's broken the section in two. If that's the case and they have to replace the length it could easily be an hour+ delay.
