(Argo) Pace Race Jack spares

Anyone got a good source of spares for Argo Manufacturing Pace Race Jacks?
I need a new piece of casting (where the handle goes in, which forms the "hinge" and pushes the pump pistons.

For the European readers not aware - this is a double pump jack, NASCAR type, and takes three pumps max from down to 18" up! And it's all aluminium weighing not a lot.

I could buy a new one, but at over $1000 for a jack, I decided that it would be prudent to see if I can get spares first.

Quartermaster used to sell them, but don't anymore.

I don't think anyone sells 'spares' - certainly not castings. The most you'll get is dust wings or outboard rollers.

Best option may be to contact Argo Manufacturing - they don't have a website (well, they do, but it's under construction, and has been for a while - www.argo-pace-rapco.com) so contact them at:

P.O. Box 359
Wasco, IL 60183 US

Phone: 800-327-3552
Fax: 630-377-0274

Without the PO box:

4 N 944 Old Lafox Rd
Wasco, IL , 60183-0359

I asked my engine guy in TN about it, and he had no experience in the matter, but one of his other customers said that you can get just about anything for them - it's just knowing WHO to ask.

The tech support guy a Quartermaster also said they did spares for them (Argo-Pace-Rapco) as they used to sell them too. But don't anymore.

Had it been an £89 eBay special, it would have been in the skip. As it's a $1000 proper job, it's seek out spares.

Worst case scenario is I get another friend to cast make a mould and cast me one!! Or machine one out of billet! I has to be cheaper than a new jack!

I'll send them a fax, since their website is "under construction" still.
