Alan has been unwell for sometime. I understand his quality of life has been less than spectacular of late.

R.I.P. one of British Motorsports true legends. My sincere condolances to Henry and the rest of the Family.

RIP Alan, an icon of 60's racing. The beautifully prepared red and gold Mk 1 Cortina's and the blown wheel arch Escort's must have gained motor sport many a fan and follower.
Always regretted selling my Escorts :-(

A legend and, has already been said, one of the most recognisable liveries in motorsport. A great supporter of historic racing and will be much missed. Sympathies to Henry, the family and friends. RIP Alan
