Irish Fiat Uno Racing

Watching it right now on Sky TV... manic, and much better than the English version (or the BTCC!).

Are they showing all the races this year??

That Irish segment of the 'World Motorsports' programme was lifted from the RPM programme, which I saw a couple of weeks ago on Tara channel. They seem to be covering all the Mondello racing.I think it is made by Ulster TV,so those in range of their transmitters may get it even earlier.Strangely they never cover Kirkistown.

I might try out this Fiat racing I've been offered the chance to hire one for the Irish series - probably at Mondello. Not too much money - far cheaper than the UK series..

I'll wait until September to decide. If I've got enough money

Towards the end of last season, Uno's were racing with the older Punto's but I believe that they are going to be phased out as those drivers will more than likely move into Punto's, (because most of the drivers of the older Punto's have moved into Punto Abarths).

I did two rounds of the Uno Championship in Eire when it was launched in 93/94 and definitely recommend it. However, the regulations are different to the UK Fiat series so beware if buying a UK spec car.
