So Aston Martin is teasing their new "Vulcan" for Geneva. I wonder if this will be a new model or just a current car redone?

Black Falcon plan to run to two SLS in Pro Cup. Drivers unannounced as yet. I was hoping we'd have a strong Mercedes team to replace HTP.

Meanwhile HTP have announced their own plans with a strong pro lineup (with one notable exception), also scooping up their main BSS rivals from last year.

I like seeing Bentley at the top step of the podium, but honestly don't understand why the factory M-Sport squad is continuing in this BES season when they already have HTP signed up, or even why SRO is allowing them to. I thought Ratel didn't care for factories.

Didn't hear that announcement. I thought HTP was to take over the baton for Bentley in BES.

Maybe it's allowed because there are still not many Bentley customers. But I'd imagine that if a more established GT nameplate like Audi or Ferrari tried to run a full works team for 2 seasons, the rest of the paddock would revolt and be justified in doing so. On paper they look like the season favorites, especially since they could have won in their development year.

On the flip side, the giant is one of my favorite cars, so looking forward to seeing it tackle the Nurburgring 24.

In the end, each time is harder to see where the factory efforts are, I see more factory efforts in the BES than in current WEC, pity it is only an European championship, because the PRO class in BES is healthier than the GTE class in WEC.

Anyone has heard something about a Seb Loeb Racing entry, or is pure daydreaming?

I think Loeb is concentrating on touring cars now.

And you're right about factory involvement, one can argue that Audi's always had a substantial factory presence. It's just that if Bentley doesn't bother to hide about it, then it could encourage others to be bold.

Odd, the factory announced so many new McLarens had been sold, yet I'm not seeing them show up on major entry lists. Assuming these 2 are taking over for ART as the factory-blessed team.

Also what stands out from the list is how popular the old Z4 remains to true customer teams.

Glad to hear they'll be in PRO, we really need a good McLaren effort to replace the ART squad.

Just wish they still had the dragon livery-that was brilliant!! Part of the reason I started following Von Ryan.
