If they had a spare, why didn't they build it up last year for Plato? Last year, on tv, they even went as far as saying they didn't have the money to replace his car.

The spare shell may not have been owned by BMR or Jason's sponsors. I'd imagine it belonged to James or Josh like their racecars did maybe? Similar to how Lee Mowle actually owned Triple 8's MG's, but we're just ran out of Buntingford?

All speculation but there will have been a very good reason but not getting a fresh car for the figurehead driver of the team.

I like TOC and wouldn't say he shouldn't try and earn money racing, but reading through his tweets it sounds a bit like sour grapes to be honest, I'm guessing someone has come in (probably to Dynamics) waving a cheque book when it was looking like he was about to be announced

Probably is important here. It could be any number of teams on the grid.

10 bob a week is a paid drive though. Does it compare to what he's getting from his various contracts (some of which might not have worked in BTCC) and what he's getting paid to give the amateur drive a good weekend?

If BMR are dropping down to 3 cars as is widely expected, that must mean a TBL is floating around.

All 32 have been allocated, so who has acquired the 4th BMR TBL?

I would think it is a single car team in 2017 expanding to 2 cars for this year.

I think it would have to be significantly more than 10 bob for a driver to leave another team.

I believe it was mentioned in pages previous that the Tordoff estate may have the TBL. Nothing confirmed though.

Speedworks is my best guess. They keep themselves to themselves, but they definitely have two good Avensis shells. They could simply be keeping Tingrams 2017 car as a spare mind.

Rumour I heard today (unreliable at best source) has 4 × Subarus. 2 × ran as BMR Flux which we have confirmed, plus Moffat in Laser and Price with his backers - A Plan I think.
