The way the FIA are going to 'improve' safety we are going to have foam cars racing in plastic tubes in the middle of nowhere and only viewable on Pay per view... Now that would be safe !

I also read something in Motoring News yesterday where the FIA had produced some new guidelines which the ACO said they "didn't understand" but didn't think affected them...!!! Although I'm probably misquoting wildly... Please read Motoring News for yourself.

Even John Mangoletsi (guv'ner of the FIA Sportscar Championship) has rubbished this report and says it is not applicable to any of the cars in 'his' series.
On a serious note, just imagine if the Dumbreck Mercedes flip had happened at the crest of the hill underneath the Dunlop bridge.
