I've done a little work on my Donington revision. I took Pirenzo's advice to heart and lengthened the main straight to include Shields. I thus enlarged the paddock, too.

I also made the Craner Curves faster again -- I had tightened them on my previous design. I think they're of beter use when they're faster -- nevermind the bigger challenge -- considering the tight New Hairpin at the end of them.

Additionally I created a shortcut from Goddards to the exit of the Starkey Complex in which I used the Esses name again.

Tell me what you think.

This latest concept came to me while watching tape-delay V8 Supercar races last winter when I noticed that the Sandown Park and Pukekohe circuits ran around a horse track. I penned this particular design just a few days ago, though, after looking through some of my older sketches. The layout is rather simple, with only 9 turns and 2.56 miles in length, but it still a very challenging circuit. The trademark features are the 9-furlong racecourse in the infield, the flat-out run from the front straight through Turn 1 and to the hairpin, and the world's fourth-largest grandstand that accomodates both the road circuit and the racecourse, lest I forget the fast esses at the back of the circuit.

I came up with another circuit. This one runs through the streets of the business area just south of Amsterdam. One exiting feature: it runs underneath the Amsterdam Arena football stadium! It runs counter-clockwise and I called it the Amsterdam Arena Raceway.

I tried a few changes to your track, Fish... but I kind of ruined it. I'm quite happy with the last chicane I did, though -- it's a bit tighter than your version, much like the NGK-chicane at the Nurburgring.

No, that's called a make-over.

Seriously, I'm not too fond of this version, either. I like my previous design, on which the Esses remained -- albeit the other way around. Check it out a couple of pages back.

You bet you ruined it! The end of the lap was supposed to be a mirror image of the Nürburgring with the old Veedol chicane, and you Tilkefied it just like the NGK chicane is now. And Turn 1! That opening lap was supposed to be like old Imola, and you put in a simply dreadful corner there!
If you really wanted to ruin my track, you would've done this...

Okay... I edited Fishies track also... At Lustigs first chicane, i choose to keep it, whilst at the second chicane, i think Fish´s original idea was best... At the final corner, i tightened it even more...

very good T_R but i expect the FIA would check the saftey at Tenterden because F1 Cars would be feathering the throttle in 7th Gear!
