Yes, those Michelins look good. However, the current cost of converting F1 cars to run on those tyres would be enormous. It shouldn't be an enormous amount of money to switch to those tyres, but unfortunately that's the way things have gone in F1 since 2009, and before. I'm sure that if F1 had got the budget cap sorted out, F1 cars would now be running on those Michelin tyres. Too bad.

Remember the clip of the RBR car launching itself off a curb, and the suspension movement, when it launched and when it landed? Zero! |

It's not just the suspension but the effect a larger rimmed wheel will have on the aero.

Good for road tyre development I guess. 18inch and the same tyre for wet and dry. Exactly the same as what I have on my Mini. |

Nice to see that Michelin are to debut their wet/dry treaded tyre in Formula E. Possibly the best place for them at this time. Hell! We've only just gotten used to having slick tyres again! |

Well since he probably does not want to blame the car again he may as well blame the tyres! |

Well, to be fair the lock-up that caused the puncture was an ugly one. But from a safety point of view, a tyre shouldn't explode so easily.
Next is Suzuka, if I were a driver I wouldn't want to go past the 130R turn with these tyres for 20 consecutive laps, that's for sure. |

Pirelli really ought to take just the hard compound tyre to the remaining races, so that we need only then moan about how boring F1 races are becoming. |
