Teddington Ted should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
LMC

Well a week later and I think that I've recovered now. For some reason it seemed a lot more demanding this time - maybe due to the weather or simply too many nights of poor sleep under canvass.

Anyway it was another very enjoyable, very French experience. Since coming home I've found out from friends who were there about all the attractions that somehow I never got the chance to see, although buzzing around on a motorbike on Thursday helped me get a better perspective of what's out there as people were setting up. In comparison to previous years the Bugatti circuit was packed with car clubs which was great although coming off the main circuit and having to contend with that stupid train was not.

All in all the top event of its kind. What a joy to race at such high speeds and this time for me at least it was hard racing in every round. LMC is a true test of machinery and the nut behind the wheel.

Jusqu'a la prochaine fois.

Mark

Does anyone know someone at Motors TV please?

Superb photo of two Talbots overtaking three abreast on the Mulsanne, on the studio wall during the interviews. I remember it well.

Would like to get a copy.

Don't tell JR though! I would like another drive in the greatest pre-war cars!

Thanks for your photo's Gary. Superb.

Just wanted to say a thank you to JR for putting us in the winning team & telling us we had won at about midnight on the Sunday. With our mis-fire it didn't even occur to us to check the scoreboard. Thanks to all the other team members who obviously went better than we did.

Just received the photos from my fellow marshal at the second Mulsanne chicane. Here are some.

Vincent Gaye

A bit of a long shot, but I am trying to contact Vincent Gaye about one of his old race cars.
Any ideas how I can find him ?
