i would imagine it's about developing reflexes and learning what to do as much as anything? as long as the sim reacts in something vaguely resembling the right way it's fine? after all, you can root out the guys who are simply good by repetition at the very early stages of things. the ones who have the right instincts and talents will get it no matter what.

It's like old times, if you want to win you have to be in 2 or 3 teams. Now the top dog is Prema and then Mucke as usual, but they also have the best or very experienced drivers. I would say he's doing very well with a relatively new team for F3.
Clearly Lello will win it easily, he just had a lot of bad luck last season and he could have been in FR3.5 w/o any problems. |

Will Buller has quit T-Sport to join Fortec.
Surprised not more mentioning Prema Marciello DQ for lightweight parts. How long have then been doing this? |

The very slightly wider gears were introduced in 2012. Many teams use old stock, pre 2012, for testing and then change for the qualifying and race. The performance gain is so small it could not be calculated. A genuine error.

Good to see someone other than Raffaele Marciello dominate - still a big gap in points tho between the top 2 & the rest...
Points after 5 rounds... Raffaele Marciello - 239.5 Felix Rosenqvist - 212 Lucas Auer - 165 Alex Lynn - 133.5 Harry Tincknell - 130 Tom Blomqvist - 94.5 Jordan King - 76 Felix Serralles - 76 Sven Muller - 60 Josh Hill - 56 ** Norisring is up next on the 14th of July - bound to be some carnage there... |

Really no interest in this series huh?
Rosenqvist had a perfect weekend at Zandvoort point wise, and with Marciellos weekend beeing less than perfect the points gap is now down to 9.5 with two weekends to go. The first is at Vallelunga where Marciello should have a clear advantage but judging from the races at Zandvoort maybe the presure is getting to him? |

But he will win the title. I think Prema Power will be stronger in Vallelunga than Mücke because Mücke is the first time in Vallelunga and Prema Power is testing there from time to time.

How did Blomqvist do? Really frustrated that his talent has not been rewarded this year despite the red bull backing?

Watch out, Blomqvist will be kick out from Red Bull stable very soon. He wanted to be the cool rocker boy but he is turning into the fading star.

I've found F3 so dull this year because it's either Marciello or Rosenqvist dominating. There are no real electric young guns either. Marciello will win I reckon, but I am abut less convinced about his mental strength after this weekend. How he gets on in whatever he races next year ought to be very telling. As for Rosenqvist, he's good but not amazing. A decent DTM career beckons I reckon

Hmm, I disagree. Marciello, Rosenqvist, Kyvat, Lynn and maybe Auer and King, among others, could all be stars in the future.

Yes, but still the racing hasn't been good. I think Marciello might be very special even in F1.

Fellow countryman bias aside I honestly think Rosenqvist is just as good as Marciello.

In all fairness, Marciello does have Prema, and Rosenqvist is beating the very talented Alex Lynn, Marciello's teammate, by a big margin, and is only 9.5 points away from the Italian.
