Spot on all it is, is a worse Midlands championship

Be interest to see who goes to Snetterton?

The TV is the only plus, cranks, fly wheels and this calender prove he still has no idea.

What happens at the end of the year will they admit they f*cked up?

Bet the only BRSCC FF1600 champship that's left in 2007 is the NW

RayFF, I've had the opportunity to raise many issues with Kevin including the ones you refer to and can tell you that he has said that the date for the Brands Hatch meeting was the first date made available to the FFords. Brands are not running many "club" events this coming season so it was a case of getting what dates he could. I've found Kevin to be a very approachable chap who will answer any question put to him.
His contact details are on the e-mails he sends out to everybody so rather than us all debating his "apparent" decisions in public would it not be fairer to put all of the points drivers have to him through a spokesperson? That way we can get the facts and stop putting him down before he's had chance to take his coat off.

On the topic of TV costs, Kevin tells me that he has managed to get the coverage for nothing so far, so I would say that we'd better watch what we're saying or else the programme makers might start asking for payment.

In terms of other "Burning" issues, Kevin would like to attend Oulton to meet with all the drivers and discuss the issues in person. He hopes to do this early this coming season.

Fair Point

Noticed the championship registration has doubled £100 now?

What additional bargaining power the Historic and Classic championships have over clubFF? They both are bestowed with two meetings at Brands, all different dates.

Maybe Kevin could find out, he was co-ordinator for the Classics for a short period?

It is a question of which date the clubs get, Jim. BRSCC have very few dates. HSCC get two dates - probably because they guarantee near-capacity grids of great racing from evocative marques. Classics race at the hugely popular BARC CSMA Festival and, this year, the FFord Festival.

If you look at the calendar on the BRSCC site, you will see that they have jam-packed the Brands Hatch timetables with just about every formula they have!

Well I'm very pleased with the NW calendar, and the peeps who organised the whole championship, great to get the rounds televised after the patheticness off not being able to get them televised last year, due to some drivers not wanting to pay money, which wasn't a huge amount in any case. 4 visits to Anglesey suits me fine, would have been good to get to Donny, but I cant complain.

Sorry if I have missed a post, but will the MS be televised aswell?

PS. I'm not a driver, just a mech!

Sorry to hear that Justin, you must be getting very frustrated.

What with the bad luck last year, a godd end of season at WHT and Anglesy and now this.

You could always hire the car out?

Has anyone recieved championship regulations and registration forms yet, I spoke to the BRSCC office and was told they were being sent direct from the championship co-ordinators?
