2007 Bashas' Supermarkets 200 @ Phoenix Busch Series Event Thread *SPOILERS*

After the high banks of Texas is time to head out to the Valley of the Sun and Phoenix International Raceway. Kevin Harvick won the race last year and will be looking to repeat unless anyone can stop him

Track Specs: 1 mile oval, 11 degrees of banking in turns 1-2, 9 degrees of banking in turns 3-4 and 0 degrees of banking on the straightaways. Roughly 76,000 grandstand seats.

There are 44 cars going for 43 spots. NASCAR.com has the entry list.

TV: The broadcast on ESPN2 starts at 9:00pm ET, April 20th (note that this is on Friday). Green flag is scheduled for just after 9:30pm ET.

As Knowlesy mentioned in the Cup thread the race is shown live at 3:00am CET on NASN2 (2:00am on Setanta Ireland for UK viewers).

My pick for the win: Denny Hamlin

Guess I wasn't the only one that didn't stay up in the middle of the night to watch this

In any case, congratulations to Clint Bowyer on winning the Bashas' Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix ahead of Matt Kenseth and Jeff Burton.

NASCAR.com has the unofficial results and unofficial standings which Carl Edwards still leads comfortably, 424 points ahead of Dave Blaney in the Toyota.

As for the outsiders Juan Pablo Montoya finished 21st with Marcos Ambrose right behind him in 22nd, both on the lead lap.

I caught it this morning. Can't stay up for two nights!

Good win for Clint there though, he really was the class of the field all day. Kenseth had no chance to hold him back really...

I lost count of how many near misses JPM had with spinning traffic!

Did I catch someone calling Marcos Ambrose an "Idiot"?

It was Mike Wallace's spotter or crew chief.
