SAR sports raceing car

I saw this device at the Croft international in 1971. It was built and driven by one Stanley Robinson and was apparantly based on an earlier car called the Unipower FVA. In the form I saw it, it was ugly and slow but apparantly redeemed itself in later life and sported a pretty body and won lots of races at club level. Does anyone recall this car or know anything about it? And who was Stanley Robinson - did he have any connection with the Robinson S2000 cars in later years?
