I think it was a big crash at dingle dell corner but some other people think it was tire failure...

Eaves certainly seems to have got the Donkey to wake up. Tom Chilton has had another good day, a few hats being eaten I think.

James Thompson had an engine blow up... auto. back-of-the-grid stuff.

Dan Eaves? What can I say?! I doubted him all the way through 2001, but he's only gone and stuck the ol' dog at the sharp end of the grid! Tim has also done well considering his lack of experience in the 406 (relative to Dan).

I wonder if Mick Linford is listening...???

Hmm Good stuff so far, and the races hasn't even started!

Fantastic stuff from Dan Eaves, Tim Harvey, and Tom Chilton. Trust me, I'm boiling the hat right now to eat!

Priaulx only 1.2 off the Vauxhalls, so Honda not in a very bad state, but Proton, not what they had hoped for nor what Slight could have hoped for either.

Chilton only about 1sec off Muller both times, could he be springing suprises later in the season? What would he be doing in a 2002 car one has to ask.

The Barwell Astras of Tom Chilton and Aaron Slight are 2002 cars.
Tripleeight have 2002 cars and Egg I believe have 2001 cars

Not sure there's any real difference between the cars.
And just to clear something up, I think Thompson will start at the back of the Touring Grid, but still ahead of the Production Class runners.

I see Matt has vindicated himself and put his doubters to shame. All those who watched his international class in Europe last year shouldn't be surprised though.

I hope he kick's Muller's arse.

Shame about Thommo's bad luck though.

I heard Muller's, Thompson's, and Neal's Astra's all had problems yesterday - could be a win for Dan Eaves !

(Minardi Fan will be loving it )
