I went today and thought it was the best yet. They've opened an extra hall up and spread it out more although I am not sure what happens tomorrow when the engineering bit goes and the bling boys move in.

The live show was poor, went yesterday having not been last year and didn't enjoy it - for me things like Formula Jedi and Formula Palmer Audi didn't work as they didn't have any grip at all. Terry Grant is good the first couple of times you see him but not after that really, though there were some good cars. Saw yesterday and had a few teething problems they really need to iron out - slow costume speakers, not hearing Louise / Paul over cars etc.

Enjoyed the show though, Watkins lecture was one of the best bits, and got a lot from it.

badgerbaiter has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
i'm normally pretty cynical, but i thought the live show wasnt too bad

the 70's cars were enjoyable to watch
the drift cars were a little scarey (i was sitting up at the front)
the 3 drift cars doing the syncronised drifting were really good to watch

coreographed or not, i saw more passing in those races that i've seen all year in 2006.

maybe it was more fun because i sat up close to the action (and got some good lung fulls of tyre smoke)

I enjoyed the live show. The place was a bit too small for the Aston, though it sounded good! Drift cars were good, as were the two rallycross.

If the autograss cars inspired you, try and get to one of the 5 British (BAS) rounds this year or one of the big Open meetings like the MAP Open which is held at Evesham's track in June. You will not be disappointed, believe me.

Haha, are you sure there mate!!

I went to MAP on the strength of the show and was utterly disappointed, hardly saw any good races, its like speedway really, everyone uses pretty much the same sort of car in each class and they are all pretty similar on speed.

Its all on the start, after that pretty dull!
