DMN 2008 - drivers, cars, regs?

Well I thought I'd start a new thread for this

So who's planning what? Who's coming out in what, and what's going on?

So who's doing what?

I'm taking photos and sponsoring cars. So... err... that will be the same as '07 then.

Looking forward to it already. If anyone is going testing over the winter (and I don't mean at Pembrey or something) then let me know and I'll possibly come along to keep my photography skills going. Or learn some actually.

On a separate note I'll start the publicising of the '07 Official BARC SE and DMN calendar now... Coming soon so watch this space!

Are there any plans for a dedicated DMN website? I know that Rod Birley's is a good source of information, but it would be great to have information about everyone in one place. There are a lot of interesting machines on the grid in DMN, and it would be nice for the spectators to know a little more about the cars (and their drivers).

If the fans can put faces to names, and also get to know a little about the competitor's backgrounds, I'm sure that the series will be able to build on the fan base that I'm sure it has already (it certainly won a lot fans at the Brands Truck meeting).

Hopefully this thread will keep going through the winter. It can be the DMN's equivalent of Reuters !!!

Hey,

I will be a new competitor and recently bought an Alfa 33 (formerly ARCA class D)
It is my intention to enter this championship and see how I get on. I can't believe how much some of the other championships want in entry fees. Its ridiculous.

Here's hoping DMN stays competitively priced and with nice evenly spaced rounds in 2008! If so, I'll see you guys in 2008. Just need to finish some wiring and I'm ready to go

Sam

Welcome to Tenths Sam. And more importantly welcome to the DMN championship. I'm only a photographer but the important people will say hello shortly!

Thanks mate, I know one or two already from the real world when I used to help a driver in the SEMSEC Sports & Saloons Championship.

To everyone: Don't do too much work to your car this winter, I want someone to race against at the back next year!

Cheers Lee.

Some of my stuff turned up so I been prepping some components ready for fitting. No fires yet! I may have to call on you at some point. I think the alternator/starter thing is going to confuse me a little bit. Yes... I am going to run an alternator! I know I know.

Evening chaps and chapesses, its your friendly entries sec here (for those that don't know me).

Welcome to the championship Sam and any one else looking to enter.

Timelord - the BARC South East Centre website (the club that runs DMN) has a section on the website that we are hoping to develop over the off season and also next season and car/driver profiles are one of the things on the list.

So watch out you guy's we'll be after your information and if you don't supply it we'll make it up.

Just another quick plug for the Official BARC SEC 2008 calendar. The layout has been discussed and photos picked today and looks like it should be superb.

Keep your eyes out for the release date. And reserve your copies now with... err... Rod?
