pete60 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
No, someone in another thread had indicated that car was built up out of a spare shell in the WPS shed. Presumably one of the shells that the team was always just about to finish off building up into new cars..............

There was a guy in Sydney who had the '05' car in that fleet, the one Mr Brock bailed from to get into this '45' car... wonder where the 3rd one is?

The value in this car is that Mr Brock stuck his bum in it... they didnt win the class in the B12....

The ex BFR VP has travelled a long and winding road. However, it was owned for many years by Richard Mork, who upgarded it to VS guise. He sold it a few years ago to John Bourke, who ran it a few times in the (then) TCC.

Neither of the GIO VLs finished their Group A lives with the Bob Forbes team. One went to Stuart McColl to become the Kart Mania car, whilst the other went to father & son Donaher. Not sure which car the Holc car was.

If I remember correctly it was the Donaher car, but I'm waiting to hear back from David to confirm this.

The geissler /rogers car was raced through to 1985 and sold in 1986. it entered 4 bathursts in those years and did amscar races at amaroo as shakedowns for bathurst

Word is....

The Gulson/Geoghegan Commodore went through several owners and is now in the care of Kevin Heffernan.

The Cooke/Brown "Citizen" Commodore was owned by Citizen. From Cooke it went to Charlie O'Brien for 1981, crashed at Bathurst and CO'B purchased the spare Roadways car for the weekend. Greg Toepfer then repaired the crashed car and ran it as "Citizen" again in 1982 with Ken Mathews. Mathews then purchased the car from Citizen and ran it through 1983 (Mathews/Toepfer - Bathurst 83 Ignis Fridges?) and into 1984 when mid-year Mathews crashed it at Amaroo. Mathews then purchased "Elvis" from Roadways and ran Bathurst 84 again with Toepfer. The original (Cooke/Brown) car may have surfaced recently in southern Qld.

The CIG - Bridges/Ransom Commodore was converted back to a road car and is apparently still a road car in Newcastle.

The 1980 Wingston/O'Brien Roadways Commodore could have been the one sold to CO'B (see above) for 1981. This car then went to Terry Finnigan.

I've got the Benson-Brown Commodore.

Haven't been able to find out about the Geissler/Rogers Commodore. Anyone know???

The pricing seems to be a little more realistic compared to previous sales

I'm not too sure that there have been any (previous sales) ?

But I agree that it "seems to be a little more realistic compared to previous - Advertised Asking Prices"

This may/may not have been covered earlier, but where are, or what happened to, the Roadways Commodore's?

I won't guess anything, but the range of Commodore's would be from 1980 obviously until the end of 1989, i can't recall any 'Roadways' (under its then Les Small guise) entries after that

This list of the Group A's is from memory, I won't get a chance to check with Les as he is moving factory this week...

# 1 VK. Ex Roadways VK "Group C" converted to GpA, used as Yokohama test car, sold to Tony Kavich.

# 2 VK. Graeme Bowkett.

# No Plate. Graeme Hooley, components supplied.

# 3 VK. Roadways. Leased to Cullen (K-Mart) for Bathurst 85. Then went to Europe for the Grice campaign in 1986.

# 4. VK. Cameron (NZ)

# 5. VK. Graeme Bailey. 1986 Bathurst.

# 6. VK. Roadways. Japan 1986 campaign, AGP 1986, Grice. Crosby 1987.

# 7. VL. Roadways. Bob Jane T-Marts, Grice 1987. Became an AUSCAR, destroyed in fatal practice crash (Allan Hurran?)

# 8. VL. Roadways. FAI/Grice 1988. Later to Dailey Planet.

# 9. VL. Rogers 1988. Later to Finnigan.

anthony81901 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Roadways had sold chassis 6 at the end of 86, the team planning on contesting the WTCC in a Nissan Skyline. When this fell through, an ATCC campaign was hastily arranged and the 86 Bathurst winner leased for Grice and the Graeme Cameron car for Graham Crosby for the first 2 rounds. The VL debuted at round 3 and after renegotiating the Bob Jane sponsorship the team reverted to a one car operation.

One of the 2 88 built cars was sold to Bill O'Brien and raced at Bathurst in 94 & 95.

can you clarify the cameron car at all?
i thought that the car he owned and ran as a vk then vl (Bathurst 87) was the grice agp winner.
he does seam, possibly, to use another chassis at an early nissan mobil round, as this is prior to the AGP

( i think any way, i will go and look at the dates)

Add please what you know

Cheers
