Don't forget that you can get the Cup coverage on FOX9 (65204), it can be a bit tempramental on whether its on the list or not. Keeps appearing and disappearing.

Earlier today TVU had it listed in FOX9, its not on the listings now though. We'll know by about 1am GMT.

A couple of hours. It is short, the race itself will be about an hour and a half, if that.

It is scheduled until 3:30, I will be shocked if it goes beyond that.

That said, the way the cars ran in practice it could just be wreck city.

Thanks for the info. I think I can manage 'til 3:30am. I've never watched a Nascar race all the way through mind, so this will be a welcome first.

Cool, hopefully it will be an enjoyable event for your first time.

This is a mini NASCAR race really. The big full distance Cup races they run in the regular season are lengthy to say the least, best part of three to four hours each. Demanding, but great if you enjoy NASCAR and particularly if it is on a good track.

Yes, the HD feed benefits all. But it was HD last year and wasn't this good.

I'm actually quite happy with the UK coverage thus far (it has its niggles) but they have just illustrated why there is no need for the UK studio.

We just crossed from Keith Heuwen to the American coverage and....we are now in their studio! I hope Sky learn from this.
