Hi, we're racing at Oulton next weekend (mg trophy and metro cup), if you struggle finding somewhere to pitch your tent, you can use our pit garage! lol.

see you next weekend.

Hi Deano,
Camping is usually on left just over entry bridge, think theres some showers near pits, couple of years since we stayed over, were some porta bogs then, not sure about catering but most of the regular marshals have breakfast in the restaurant where you sign on.
See you at Caddy soon.

Looking forward to seeing you next weekend.

I can't help you with the camping but you could always try the Egerton Arms - for food and beer; turn right out of the circuit, go past the Coach Road and it's not too far on the left.

Andy Gravel Monkey maybe able to help you because he camps there quite a bit or conversely contact the circuit.

when i have i ever camped at oulton? i only live 25-30 mins away! but camping just to the left of bailey bridge, you will probably have the hintons with you and mayby one or two others, showers in the first block in the pit lane and as stated everyone either having breakfast or loitering around the food!

Race timetable (all 11 of them) and the entry list for the two Lotus races can be found here:

http://www.lotrdc.com/Oulton_Park_19th_May

Note that qualifying kicks off at 8.30...

See you there!

Your ok there is no favouritism I have no tickets as yet but he did say that they should have been sent. Looks like a cracking program with a full grid of Lotus's/Lotie just hope the other grids are as good as Silverstone.

If I go friday it will be about 7.30- 8pm when I get there as Steph doesnt finish work experience till 4 ish. It does talk of a bit dry weather later in the week but how long for

I can assure you all, that the passes have been sent out 1st. Class from the Club Office in Abingdon. I have included a letter of explanation re the early start, and I have also been given an assurance that The Chequers will be open from 7.00am for breakfast, and no doubt the MGCC will be giving a donation towards the cost of the said breakfast when you sign on.

If you have not received your passes by Wednesday, please get in touch with me. A personal mail or phone call will get a much quicker response than a posting on this forum.

I would also add that the programme has been slightly re-scheduled so we should have a reasonable finish time, as the 1 hour Tin Top race has been shelved due to a low entry.

As is the MGCC tradition, we will run a very slick meeting, no messing about, no 'Prima Donnas', good grids and good Club racing. Have we ever let you down over the last few years?

See you Saturday, bright and early, (well early if nothing else).

My first meeting at Oulton this year, so I'm looking forward to it. Not sure about the early start, but at least I know there won't be a late finish!

Hi guys, I'm racing in the MG trophy on sat, ZR #44,, come and say hi.

Glad to hear it's not a late finish as we're the last race, and by the sounds of it, the other half has to start work at 5am sunday, so long drive back to Oxford at the end of the day!! lol

Thanks for the info about the tickets, just to let you know BBC 5 day weather is on today for Sat and it says light showers, but could change by then. Oulton is my local circiut so see you all on Sat, glad to see there will be decent grids, dont mind early start, early finish, have a good day and keep safe lads.

That's a pretty tight programme, but looks good so lets hope no accidents etc.

Also lets not just hope the weather holds but that the major catastophic mistake of last year will be corrected and we get Ol' Speck and NOT John Smith!!!!!!!!

Lookin' forward to meetin' up again. See y'all Sat

Clive - The order has been placed for the senior spotted chicken fluid, but I can not guarantee delivery. If it doesn't arrive, just sack me! and the job is all yours, so how about you bring a case or two just 'incase', at least you and me would be sorted!!!

There's just no pleasing some people

No tickets yet (although don't know if they will be delivered today).

Looking forward to the meeting, MGCC meetings have always been good ones (in my experience).
