Could Troy Bayliss be heading to V8Supercars in 2009? It's not out of the realms of possibility.........

well i read this also on another forum and i think at his age a full-time drive is out of the question although stranger things have happened, and enduro time is definatly a big possibility i think with the profile a few big teams wouldn't mind getting hime, maybe HRT's next big name signing, PMM have sdone it before with retired bike racers (Doohan) so.....

I would think there is more chance of Troy doing the Tour de France than him joining the V8's. He is a very keen cyclist.

What's to say he doesn't end up driving in the Aust GT series in a Aston Martin??? Did say in the paper or wherever I read it that he tested out one of there cars recently.
It also said he was looking at spending more time with his family, which would mean a full schedule would probably be out of the question in the Main game. Which would either leave him with the option of enduro drives, Dev. Series or another category with just enough rounds to keep him balanced between family and racing. |
