nic.v814 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I wonder how much longer they can keep coming up with funny stuff to do with cars and keep it fresh ,maybe they should make another car rocket that was awesome, id also like to see them put a bunch of top drivers together and race something stupid like smart cars or those old 3 wheel cars

I just got Richard Hammonds new book, "As you do" which talks more in depth about his adventures on the Polar Special and the Botswana trip along with the second attempt at the amphibious cars. I think I'm about half way through and so far so good. Those that are fans will certainly enjoy it.

yer, maybe racing something like the Lacetti or another normal motor to show even those types of cars can be fun to drive.

Yeah I enjoyed that as well - I even watched the Arctic special again afterwards as it does get another "layer" after reading the book.

I have to say though, my sympathies are entirely with his wife. He certainly comes across as a bit of handful!

There are some good pix in there as well and the section about Evel Kneivel is also good (that's at the end so I won't spoil it for you! )

Yep I am just getting started on the Evel part but conked out the other night at 3 am reading it. Definitely a good book. I also have his other book about his life and the accident, but it is in my reading stack and haven't got to that yet.

Looks like Season 13 may happen in the spring.

SBS is now showing season 12, episode 2 was on Monday night (7:30pm in case you are interested & don’t have a tv guide…). Closer to being up to date than we have ever been for TG screening!

The American show was pretty good with quite an impressive effort by James May to end up off the road when trying to do a burnout

Did they really buy that car just to test it?

Am i the only to notice that SBS these days seem to be cutting bits out of the episodes, it seems very cut & pasted these days.

BBC America does that as well by chopping out 15 minutes, which is why I turn elsewhere for the show.

Just watched the Basel-Blackpool economy race - if one of them had taken a diesel Toyota Landcruiser Prado they would have done it easy, 30mpg and 40 gallon tank!

Don't think that I 'get' Dave (I am on a Sky dish but haven't been a subscriber since April so only get the free channels)

I think Dave were showing the early episodes of the latest series whilst the latter episodes were being shown on BBC.

Anyway, I think the episodes should be on this website - thanks to jonbryant who sent me the link a while back! http://www.hessmo.com/Hessmo/Home.html
