Insurance groups

I'm really hankering after classic, but are there any websites that list insurance groups? Parker's is OK for post 1994 cars and the like, but not older stuff. I don't want to get an MG Midget, only to find out its group 12 and £600 a year, so a bit of research beforehand is needed. I haven't got my eye on anything particular though.

Generally Classic Car insurance is pretty cheap, assuming you are not going for something truly outrageous. You will probably go for limited mileage and that will help. Go for a specialist classic car insurer and you should get a good deal (easily less than £200, depending on location and history). An MG Midget should be no problem at all.
