Coming into the Austrian round, we had 2 carry over penalties

Chilton and Perez both for causing accidents

CHilton had 3 place grid drop costing him 6 points and Marusia 3 constructors points.

Perez's penalty remained after appeal and so cost him 10 points and Force India 5 points

Ahead of the race, Grosjean required an out of sequence gearbox change which would have been a 5 place grid penalty, however the team withdrew the car from parc ferme to make set up changes resulting in being required to start from the pit lane. This was in-effect a 6 place grid drop and penalised as such with Grosjean having a 12 point penalty and Lotus a 6 point penalty.

Vergne's brake issue and Kvyat's suspension failure resulted technical DNFs meaning 10 penalty points for Toro Rosso. Red Bull's decision to retire Vettel car is also considered a Technical DNF, and costs them 5 constructors points.

Onto the results and we have joint winners for the second time this season Wolf GP and Rolling Chicane Racing scoring 84pts. They were followed just one point behind by both 321 Motorport and Little Hotels on 83 points.

I can't remember seeing both 1st & 2nd and 3rd & 4th scoring equally before never mind just one point apart.

In the overall
Racing for Sealand (591 pts) still leads , though now with an eleven point advantage over Tuk Tuk Racing on 580 pts with Team Foggy Notion closing up the gap in third with 573 pts.
