Definitely!

Anyway, I'm extremely concerned by F1's incredibly long season. It's killing national motorsport in Europe and South America. Major sports cars, touring cars and rally races all clash in the few non-F1 weekends. FIA should reduce the calendar to 17 races by dropping some Asian races, especially Bahrain and South Korea. |

A French GP at Magney Cours might happen in 2015. Negociations with FOM are ongoing it seems.

It's a travesty that the country that invented Motor Racing has been off the calender so long.

Its more of a travesty that they don't have a decent race track capable of holding "modern F1". Dijon is too old and not up to todays "safety standard", Paul Ricard looks like a tablecloth, and its layout isn't fantastic. I think France really do struggle when it comes to good, challenging race tracks. Magny Cours for me is such a dull track. I'd rather watch China or Bahrain.

I wouldn't rather watch Bahrain or China. The one thing that French tracks have is good surrounding locations. You don't get that at new many new circuits.

But I never did have a problem with MC myself.. They complain that it's in the middle of nowhere, well some of VIP's have in the past. |

As a spectator, I thought MC was great. Good viewing everywhere, and as for in the middle of nowhere, Nevers town is beautiful.

There's a bit of political turbulence in France and I don't think returning a GP in '15, figures as a high priority for them and it's something that needs a firm political push if it's to become realistic. We maybe waiting for a few years yet.

Bernie decides, shame he won't listen to what the fans would like.
