Any proper endurance racing for the clubman
We are a small team based in Ireland and we want to do some proper endurance racing that is 2+ Hours and up to 12 hours in the UK or Europe that wont completly break the bank
The cars we have available to us are an E46 BMW M3 and an E36 M3 along with a few historic cars that we could get hold of like a 1979 Porsche 911 We would also consider buying or building a car for the right events We are aware of Britcar and things like that but they are very expensive to run in and seem to be at a higher level with very large bugets Any help would be much appreciated |

The only other endurance that I'm aware of is the fun cup!

Well, the other one is the 24 hour for 2CVs!
Now before you fall off your chair laughing, a lot of quite of famous drivers have done the 2CV 24 hours, and it's been going for 20 years. It's a great atmosphere, some good racing (plenty of drafting experience), and a great group of people. You can either build a car, buy one ready built, or hire one, complete with mechanics if needed. Budget is low, particularly if spread among 4 drivers, and the race is in late August, so time enough to get something sorted. More information at www.2cvracing.org.uk |

If you want to run the BMW, then you have GT Trophy and/or Britcar in the UK.

Theres the 360 club that run endurance stuff too, i'm sure one of them would be along shortly to advise what they offer.

You could use your current E46 for GT Trophy. They run 2/3 hour endurance races. http://www.gtcup.co.uk/home/entry-in...-gt-trophy.php

What about the V De V series in France.
Must admit that I don't know too much about it but I have seen it on Motors TV in the past & I remember their being two versions, one for the CN Prototypes (Ligier, Juno etc) & one for "classic cars" inc things like 911s. http://www.vdev.fr/ |
