Poor move by Mr. Field, looks like he ruined the race for the other Intersport car and cost the JDX car the class lead.

Bergmeister loses it and clips the back of one of the ESM cars.

Is it just me or does the ferrari look wholly ineffective here?

You can see it in vilanders driving line...the cars just looks very oversteery....he's having to real track out on the exit of all the turns

2. BMW was given a restrictor break, but still remained uncompetitive.
3. BMW has developed the car to becomeing verry competive last year.
4. BMW has developed the car some more and now apears to be the fastet car.
5. thus there is no need for the restrictor break anymore, and makes the competition tainted becouse they are getting much more help then anyone else.

it is simply time for the ACO or IMSA to cut them down to just beeing competitve, and keep cuting them down until they are just within 0.5% of the rest, without any restrictors breakes, and let thier speed be a true measure of their development not a combination of Development and artificial boosts
Up to point 4 you're completely right. The regs are clear they will review it after 3 races, which they did. If IMSA hadn't screwed up with bulletin timing it would be completely fair.

If Jag and Ford suddenly develop the car well enough that they can run at the front their massive speed advantage will be pegged back. The constant complaining that BMW are being treated differently is bull**** - nothing more.

Like I said look at Porsche's speed at the end of Lime Rock - the sudden leap at the end of the race shows that they were sandbagging. Why would you sandbag when you're getting beat? Maybe because the advantages the BMWs have isn't engine related? Tyres and setup aren't affected by air restrictors...

It went more smoothly than Cytosport's. Just the exit needs some work, but that may be a clutch issue.

Cytosport's was more messy but faster, Dyson looked like they were having a beer break during the pitstop. About 10 seconds lost.

And, it seems, the Jags just need better drivers. Bruno just turned the fastest GT lap of the race in #99! Go figure.

He did 2 1:18.1 laps in a row.

And then promptly comes into the pits, probably to have its restrictors refitted.

Looks like Gentilozzi found a 1000 BHP IMSA GTP turbo engine to put in the car for a while.
