Daytona or Sebring in December?

Is there likely to be anything happening during the month of December? No testing anybody is aware of?
My father is in Florida for the month and was keen to visit either or both circuits and would prefer there to be some form of on track activity

Not sure he appreciates NASCAR (actually there's no thinking involved I know he doesn't)
He wants to revisit Daytona as he was there in 1970 with a car and Sebring cos the car continued up there but he couldn't stay on with it

Well its a start !

Michael Shank Racing (MSR) announced today that it will field a Toyota-powered Doran JE-4 in the Daytona Prototypes division of the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series in 2004. The team is slated to begin its winter testing program Dec. 19-20 at Homestead-Miami Speedway

I've passed that info on..thanks
I think now he's there he's remembered that distances on the map in the US look way closer than they really are...5 hours to Daytona doesnt appeal by all accounts
Sebring is close enough I think though Homestead is even better
