Well despite my FISCAR duties, I actually got to see some of the racing - a few shots from Race 5 - Guards SR

Tim and Tony Barry's March was certainly the car that brought back most memories, and it was great to see it back in its original livery. I first saw it at Loton Park back in '76, and again the following year when Chris Cramer ran it with a different nose and aerofoil. I think the guys have replicated it as far as would be humanly possible, and so sorry to hear of Tim's injuries and the damage to the tub. I attach a few snaps from the weekend, plus one of it back in 1976. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to full fitness, Tim

Thanks for posting those splendid pics of our F5000 March. I can take no credit for it's presentation or turn out ( apart from polishing it several times) as it was all done by my brother, Tony, who went to incredible lengths to get the correct paint colours, having the exact signwriting applied (including Shell and Goodyear stickers) and spending LOTS of time applying the gold and white pin-striping tape over the weekend. But I agree it does (DID!)look superb. And it sounded and went as well as it looked....... Tim |

Hi there all.
Slightly unusual request here, does anyone have contact details for David Jarman and Keith Butcher? Many thanks, Ben. |
