Tim 27 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

Would you be willing to lend those two programs to me so I can scan the relevent parts and post them back to you?
No problem Allen. The cover of the March meeting is a little tatty, other than that they are both in excellent condition.
P.M. me your address and I will send them Recorded Delivery early next week.

Let me know if you need any others (Snetterton Formula Atlantic etc) or anything else I may be able to assist with.

The full results of that race are here.
Having just read these results I can answer my own question relating to Damien Magees first lap shunt. August meeting and on the first lap, not the second or third as I earlier stated.

Another note to self: READ CONTENT OF ALL POSTS BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS!!!

Could you look at our Formula Atlantic list as well? It's here. That search is also going very well but there are lots of gaps in the 1979 and 1980 seasons as well as a good few in other years.

Allen, I thought 'Billy Bubblegums' car was a 732, sometimes called a 742, NOT a 752. Thats a v small entry for the March Snett race, there were a good few more cars out for th efirst race the week before at Mallory, I wonder why less people were intending to travel to Snett??

Err, maybe because they'd been there before in March and the frostbite scars were still bothering them?

Hi Tim

Got your programs today. They're already scanned and will be on their way back to you later this afternoon.

Thanks

Allen

There are now just seven UK F5000 programs to find: Castle Combe (May 1971), Oulton Park (Sep 1970), Silverstone (Aug 1973), Snetterton (Aug 1971, Mar 1976, Mar 1977 and Oct 1977) and Thruxton (May 1976).

Of these, TimD has offered to find Castle Combe May 1971 and Thruxton May 1976 and Stuart Dent thinks he has Silverstone Aug 1973 somewhere. So that's only four left!!

Oulton Park Sep 1970
Snetterton Aug 1971
Snetterton Mar 1977
Snetterton Oct 1977

Come on guys, we can do this! Just one last search in those old boxes.

Well I have the Oulton Park 19th September 1970 programme neatly filed away.

I'll scan the F5000 bits and bobs and email them to you.

So then there were three!

Hi Allen, did as you said and had one last trawl through the paper mountain. Came up with 19th September 82 Atlantic programme from Brands. It will be with you before the end of the week.
Had a little chuckle that my initials were listed as TG and the M was missing from my surname in the Atlantic credits!
Keep up the excellent work, I for one rely on this info to keep me from going insane in the off season!

And now there are two. Jim Utting has contributed the 1971 Snetterton so there are just the two 1977 Snetterton races to find.

And then there was one.

Jim strikes again with the 2 October 1977 Snetterton program so I just need the March 1977 Snetterton.

Do I need to check what the weather was like that day? Maybe nobody went?
