George Tracey ERC Round 5 Sweden

Once again, reports and all the gossip from the Tracey camp live from Sweden. The crew arrives on Friday. Should be good to see the 307 over the famous Holljes jump

Sorry to put a dampner on it for you Nev but the girls were a big dissapointment in Sweden when we were on the full ERC trail a few years ago. Although the best is yet to come for you and George as the Polish girls were by far the prettiest. Mind you I have never seen so many drunk people. At Holjes it is a nonstop party from the moment free practice opens on Saturday morning.

Have a good weekend and make sure you stock up on supply's as you will be in the middle of nowhere!!

George and team have arrived in Sweden and are en route to Holljes. A warm welcoming party was there to meet the team

End Day 1 - Saturday!

George is 11th after Heat 1. Torrential rain saw the top runners caught out but drier conditions for his heat saw George take full advantage and get his best ERC heat result tO date

Well the weather looks changeable to say the least!

I take it George is pleased with the results so far as the car is presumably still well down on power compared with the other Div1 entries?

Yep, weather working well for him, less power needed. Roll on Norway in the Xsara

The engine missfired a lot the whole weekend. It sounded like there were firecrackers instead of petrol in the tank. I think George did well considering the problems he had with the engine.

Larsson is 2nd and Jernberg 3rd, due to a 13 vs 11 points result.
