I've seen that happen to Bermingrud once when he slid sideways through a large hole in the track. I remember Kuypers also had a similar problem a few years ago.

Just a local driver…? Guttorm Lindefjell was FIA European Champion of 2003 (Division 2; Opel Astra OPC).

In 1999 he drove a Daewoo Nubira (as ugly as sin!!!) in the Div 2 of the ERC and experienced lots of problems. At the end of the year he invited a bunch of friends for a party to a quarry. As the peak of the eve the Daewoo was blown up with some dynamite…

Yep, in 2004 he was 8th ERC overall in Div 1 with a Hyundai Accent T16 4x4 and 2005 8th overall in Div 1 with the second Isachsen Focus (in 2006 driven by Tommy Rustad and now by Ole Kristian Nøttveit). The 2007 Ford of Lindefjell is a former Focus of Dutchman Jos Kuypers.

According to information on some websites he did 9 years of so-called Bilcross (Bilcross means in English Autocross but is in Norway rather a low-budget Rallycross formula, similar to so-called Folkrace in Sweden) and 2 years (1997 and 1998) of SuperNational RX.
