This are only words, wait and see on the track...

Why Arden and bcn don't select Rosberg for the SECOND seat?

Kovalainen impressed me from the moment I first saw him. He was always a talent.

Kovalainen will be the driver to beat this year in GP2.

Kovalainen will be beaten, don't worry. This year Arden will not have help from Avon, so we will see a clean championship! And in this case, i'm sure that Premat or Hamilton (is will be in GP2) will show us who really is Kovalainen!

Well, the series is on Bridgestone tyres now for a start.

But given that F3000 Avons were allocated randomly to the teams - I'd suggest Lisboa's hints are verging on the libellous.

In 2004 i was on the track all races! An example? Look at Spa races. Doornbos was flying to win, and Toccacelo was 5 (!!) second slower than dutch. Than the Italian change the tyres, and his first laptime with new tyres was fast like Doornbos one! Too much strange thing in 2004: it's not my opinion. You just need to read the laptimes.

It's a huge jump from that observation to then accuse a team of cheating.

Dear Kicking, is black on white. Someone change tyres...and found 5 seconds! It happened a lot of times: do you need other examples? Have you 2004 full result of every races? There is only one team that had no problem all year.....

You'd better hope Christian Horner, Avon and their lawyers don't read this thread then, or it may be a trip to court for you...

It's only my opinion reading the data! This is a forum, and i think we are free to write our opinion. Probably Avon can explain me why Toccacelo was 5 seconds faster after the pit-stop. I did not read anything on the press and in the releases. I don't like your way to talk, Kicking. We are just discussing, and you speak about court.....

Sorry, I'm not trying to offend you, it's just that unless you can prove your claim that Arden were "being helped by Avon" then both you and this forum could face problems - and it's best we avoid that.

I don't say that AVON help ARDEN, but that ARDEN was very luck because everybody had problem with tyres exept them. So, at the end the question is not Arden, but AVON! Too much time the tyres were different, and not only in Fia F3000, but also in Euro3000. Arden is okay, but it's not bad to confirm that they were very luck about tyres in 2004. I think Mr. Horner can confirm this. Anyway, i'm sure that in 2005 everything should be better, and the good team will be on top. Who are you expecting Kicking??

Arden is a good team though!

It's a new formula this year, with new cars, engine and tyres, so I suspect we may see various different winners.

Arden say their drivers will be "the best we've ever had" though - so I would say the smart money is probably still on them.

Do you prefer Kovalainen-Lapierre or Premat-Rosberg?

I'd go with Kovalianen in one car and either Lapierre or Rosberg in the other, if it were my choice.

But in my opinion the most exiting line-up will be ArtAsm one!

You should NEVER discard José MarÃ*a López... Last year Coloni-CMS gave him a very poor car attendance (he was forced to race with an unexperienced -to not say inexistent- race engineer), and against all odds he managed to be on podium at Monaco and Spa...
This year he is in a decent DAMS outfit instead, then I'm sure that we'll see the true value of López in the following GP2 season.

Yes, Pechito will be up on the front if Dams manage to prepare a decent
car. Another example of "pure racer" in my list.

Controlling race performance of 2x2 cars racing in the 2003/2004 Fia F3000
championship I had quite some data to predict tyre performance of the official
Fia tyre, but performance DID vary from set to set A LOT. It might or
might not have been due to quality control of the product. I really was not
able to understand this tyre at all...

I hope that Lopez & Dams will do better in GP2 than in F.Renault last year! Os hersleben and Dubai was a disaster!
