Chevron B21

Looking of pictures of and info on B21-19.
Believe the car was driven by John Hine in 1972 for John Bridges / Red Rose Racing.

The car you mentioned, the ex John Hines car, is advertised on banfan.jp as the ex John 'Haine' car for 20,000,000 yen (about 100 000 pounds). There's a couple of photos of the car in it's present livery.

Bob Howlings Racing was advertising three Chevron B21s in the Jan 4 1973 edition of Autosport, two of which appear to be ex-John Bridges/Red Rose Racing cars. No info on chassis numbers, however.

One was a B21, the other a B19/21. The former is described as 'Red Rose Racing car, as a rolling chassis and FG 400 box, or complete with Smith 1900 or 2 litre Vega'. The pic shows a car with the race number 27, with what appears to be Jody Scheckter at the wheel, with 'Tergal' across the nose.

The latter raced at Mallory in the Libre race on Boxing Day 1972 and crashed, causing light damage. The ad says 'Ex-John Bridges car, complete with Smith 1900 FVC. Fastest car at Jarama with John Watson driving'. The pic shows a car with the race number 18, with 'Tergal' across the nose. Can't identify the driver visually.

The other B21 they had was the Canon Cameras car, as driven by John Burton, described as follows: 'As new condition, never bent, and obviously the quickest B21 this year. Rolling chassis only or complete with FVC'. The pic shows a car with race number 30, Canon Cameras liveried, and the driver has a white open-face helmet.

Hope this helps in some way!
