ITV adverts

now I dont normally do adverts but the one for honda in the first advert break caught me, brilliant peice of marketing. I just sat and watched it rather than using the laptop.

I like it too. Very cleverly done. I wonder if they actually did it?

No, it certainly wasn't one take. Some of the stuff wasn't possible.

Good ad though. As ads go.

I was ignoring the ads - the race was too important to think about.

It was all brilliant until the wheels started rolling up that 45 degree slope.

Yeah, that part just proved they DIDN'T actually make it *for real*, and that it was all done on computers.

Yeah the adverts were OK actually, it was the stupid reminder that Coronation Street (very much a tired series now) was on after the news. Bugger Coronation Street, it's on practically every day!

Honda are doing pretty well: first the ad with the kiddies with the plastic Civic playset (I want one of those for my lounge ... NOW!), now this - great stuff!

It was great. The only advert that I have actually ever enjoyed watching.

The only thing I found that gave it away was the three wheels up the ramp. If it weremn't for that it would have looked genuine.

It was a great ad, but much of it (if not all) was done using CGI (computer generated images) I mean, did you really believe that those tyres went up that plank defying gravity......unless gravity does not really exist!

Bloody great ad though.......what was it for?

Shot themselves in the foot. Everone is so mesmerised by they have forgotten the product!

It's for Honda.

Well I want to buy Honda.....not just a product, but the whole company.

I know it was for Honda, but was it for a certain model, or just Honda in general?

I wanna see it again.

Oh I see....that was the phrase of the ad was it not?

I really can not remember what it was exactly for (yes I know it was Honda.....but see above) nor can I remeber excatly what the line was (see even closer above).

But it was a great ad.

And since I'm over here in Canada I'll never know what all the fuss is about. What exactly happened in the commercial?

It was just a general Honda advert, no gimmicks, no widget.

They decided to use that car, yes, but they wouldn't waste a whole ad break on a single car.

I think that advert was meant to be an antidote to the toyota sponsorship of ITV-F1 and just a general promotion of the Honda brand...

Think a domino train with car parts, that's the best way I can discribe it.
