Britcar and Changes to the 24 hour race

Following on from the announcement that Britcar has been taken over by Claire Hedley from the end of the season, there is this interesting news:

Significant changes. Any views?

I can't wait, and we have signalled our intent already.
We were going to do the race in whichever guise it took as I heard about the possible change back in April.

Touring cars only? That's odd.

Silverstone 24hrs has had lots of problems with noise limits. In previous years GT cars have often struggled, and failed, to get below the limit.

Restricting to 102dB and making touring cars only makes a lot of sense.

They dont mean "touring cars" as in Super Tourers, or BTCC type cars
