David, I don't think you should bother about him at all.
In my experience all forums have these sort of people and the best way is just to ignore them completely. I'm sure you will have the support of nearly all posters.

For example the Autosport forums have Ray Bell the self proclaimed expert on Aussie racing. No matter what you say he will come back with a question. He has 52,000 posts and seems to be going for a record, never mind the quality

Is that the full spectator number there, having plenty of time between on track action to get from their spectating position to pit lane, have a squiz, then get back to their spectating position wherever that may be before the action starts again?
