Glad he's ok. But his car seems to be not. I'm afraid it's the 3rd car this year Lada will have to write off

I'm glad for Norbi's P3 & P4. I think he is 4th in the championship, he is the best non Citroen driver (ahead of the factory Honda guys) - like he was in the end of last year.

I don't know what factories - Volvo, KIA & Skoda strongly rumored - wants to come to the WTCC, but if I were them, and want a decent driver my No1 driver would be Norbi.

Ma drove a good race (surprise), but damn, it's really unfair to see him win.

WTCC, Ribeiro or whoever in charge of regulation changes, please do something about Q2 next year. Some suggestions:
1) 14 drivers in Q2. Although the field shoild be a bit closer. And bigger
2) More qualifying points - for example a 8-5-3-2-1 or a 8-6-4-2-1 scale
3) Penalties for slow driving or some sort of a 107% rule

Although, 1st and 2nd point would be enough

a lot of action on this stunning track, not that man ypasses though, great watch even though i hope some modifications will be made for 2016 if WTCC returns.

qualifying format should be like this:
Q1 - all drivers compete in 20-30 minutes session, top 10 qualify for Q2
Q2 - one lap shootout/superpole (like DTM did until 2005), reversed grid for the first 8 positions for race 2.

could think about changing the rules so that drivers who don't set a lap in Q2 have to start from the pits to prevent a farce like this happening again.

I'm afraid thais system will have the same Q2 problem - you have 2 drivers out and the rest may go as slowly as they can to get Race 2 pole. I think top 5 superpole is enough. Although that DTM top-10 superpole system was awesome.

you could still add the 107% rule so that the drivers who drove to slow have to start from the pits as well, or give them a 5 place grid penalty for cheating if they drove to slow on purpose. sounds stupid but should be better than the current system.

Only reprimands for Ma and Loeb, but a € 1.000 fine for Coronel for 'unsporting behaviour'. Sweet lord this championship is in a sorry state...

To be honest, it was a bit too rude from Coronel, but still it's a shame they didn't give even a reprimand to Ma for this particular block (not counting the one for Tarquini). Could be a bad precedent

Sooner or later Citroen are going to get what they deserve for such behaviour. What goes around comes around.

It was definitely rude from Coronel, with the pace he has all season I'd be frustrated as well But a simple reprimand would've done

Ma's blocking in qualy was utterly pathetic. No wonder Coronel was livid. But hey, lets penalise and fine the guy who had his lap ruined, and not do anything to the guy who was dawdling on the racing line like a granny on her way to the shops.

Of course it was not nice to block it that way. And i also don't like, how FIA behaves in this case.

But if i were Citroen (leading championship since 2 years), i wouldnot like to show such performance at all.

And whats even more worse - to speak bad about the people that suffer from such not necessary behaviour!!! Regarding Honda and Coronel.
Maybe thats the french way to handle that, but if so, i would like them to go to maybe CTCC or whatever, we dont need that...

That was seriously bad sportsmanship from Maton on both occasions indeed...

I know WTCC needs manufacturers, but Citroën I wouldn't mind losing! They almost make me wish for the return of the RML Chevy dominance

Same here. Chevrolet was a friendly team which always played fair.

To end today's portion of rumours, Portuguese media report that Ribeiro requested to build 24 pit-lane boxes in 2016 instead of 20 they had this year. Portuguese think that it's another sign of a manufacturer arrival. In any case, it seems that in 2016 the field will be bigger, which is great.
http://autosport.pt/mais-boxes-em-vi...o-wtcc=f136995

Though I can't imagine how can they build 24 boxes in such small space they got there in Vila Real

He was not penalized like usual. I guess this race director drives a C4...

They say the universe has a great sense of humor. That sometimes having your dreams come true can feel like a nightmare. Ribeiro will understand when he read this.

For me, the worst thing about this was Maton alluding to previous qualifying performance being relevant. It's not. At all.

I am really upset about this behaviour in general...never heard something from other team bosses.
Especially as there was no need to behave like this.

At least a reprimand would not have loose them any points, but would make it a bit equal and fair.
