To the tune of "When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney"...

Wheeeeeeeen Santa got stuck in the gravel,
The Post Chief started to shout
"The girls and boys,
Won't hear any noise,
If you don't get him out!"
The marshals did rush, with bottles and brush,
They pushed and shoved and lo!
They got Santa out of the gravel,
GO! GO! GO!

Apologies for that; my daughter was singing the original repeatedly at full volume for an hour this morning...

Got my usual yearly reminder to post on 10/10ths.

Merry Christmas to all those that remember me, still alive just not playing with cars anymore.

Keep safe,

Keith

If anyone wants to watch Santa's progress on his lap of the year, try www.noradsanta.org. It's a pretty detailed map of the circuit and you can self-allocate your own post.

Rumour has it that, despite fitting a reindeer exhaust gas turbo-cum-KERS system to the sleigh, his lap time is predicted to be very similar to last year's !!

All I want for Christmas is about two tonnes of rocksalt !! White Christmas, it's for children and Bing Crosby only !! Gimme rain and wind any day !!

Good lord, that's gotten some mileage over the years - you do realise that it's now 10 years old...........

I should do what everyone else does, this time of year - release a 10th anniversary limited edition collectors version......

Merry Christmas everyone on here.

As this thread was born in December 2002, Happy 10th Birthday to it too.

PS. Surely this year is it's 10 Anniversary not last year.

From RacingPal.com
Audi R8 LMS GT3
Audi R8 LMS GT3

This car was owned from new by United Autosport for use in British GT and then sold to the 2nd owner who only used it for 1 race, I bought it in March 2013, and used it for 5 rounds only of British GT. The car has always been professionally run and all parts lifed/changed accordingly, but this car especially has extremely low hrs, since new it has only covered 13,000Kms and was completely rebuild in 2012 and has only had 13hrs use since, 5hrs since complete Gearbox rebuild. Full receipts from Audi Motorsport are available

The car is in full 2011 LMS specification but with some choice Ultra upgrades

• Upgraded (Spa) Endurance Suspension
• Ultra Polycarb windscreen (2k)
• Ultra Carbon Fibre Doors (15k) and saves 50kgs!
• Ultra Carbon drivers air feed tube
• Ultra Brake Blowers (increased disc life massively)

It also comes with an extensive spares package consisting of

• Full set of Suspension
• Spare discs
• Spare Driveshafts
• Front Splitter
• Rear Diffuser
• 2 front bumpers (1 with extra endurance lights)
• Rear bumper
• 4 sets (16) wheels and used slicks/wets
• Warm Up Hubs

I also have 2 Staubli Refuelling Bottles (5k each) that I would be willing to sell separately.

The car is still eligible for British GT etc but would make an incredibly competitive car in Britcar, GT Cup, Supercar Challenge etc and has 1-2 seasons use before any serious outlay is required.
Open to sensible and serious offers, and no VAT
