I think the Stealth B6 is one of the best looking GT's ever built. To bad there arn't some in the GTS class in the ALMS...

I think the car isn't homologated for ALMS (and Fia GT).

I wonder why they don't get it homologated... not enough cars built? To wild for the rules maybe?

The EuroGT will be shown on internet:

Quote:
During Marlboro Masters of Formula 3 on August 7 and 8 RaceWorld TV will use its mobile TV studio on the Euro GT Series paddock at Circuit Park Zandvoort to arrange internet broadcastings and TV reports from the races at Zandvoort and Oschersleben. Euro GT Series races will be shown on the internet service www.raceworld.tv. Also reports from the paddock with drivers’ interviews will be shown.

A direct link with the German race track of Oschersleben will be made to live broadcast the DTM Superpole qualifying session on Saturday August 7 and the DTM race on Sunday August 8 on www.raceworld.tv.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening one-hour reviews of the day will be recorded at the Zandvoort studio. Apart from being shown on the internet, these reviews can also be seen on the Dutch local TV network ROB TV which service is available in the North-West of The Netherlands.

Too wild? That car is even wilder then the MC12 Gorgeous car, but not a GT at all imho. Like the MC12: LMP.

Good that Schnitzer/BMW Motorsport are entering. I thought they'd walk away after the Nurburgring and Spa, but perhaps they're still in training for Bathurst later in the year?

Wooohooo...Elmar Grimm didn't bring his usual Porsche GT2 but instead got the Wieth Racing Ferrari 550

BMW could have won...but screwed up pit strategy got in the way. They pitted at the end of the SC end where everyone else had already pitted during the SC, and were stuck behind other cars.

Indeed a surprise, unfortunaly he was not very quick (need some extra testing?).

A stupid decision.

Results race 1.

Must say these Marcos LM600 cars are real monsters. A shame we don't see them in Fia GT, Le Mans and/or LMES.

BTW This was Cor "Mister Marcos" Euser 499th race (190 poles) in his 25 years racing career.

What do you mean with first weekend race? Knook races that car (it's the blue stealth, there's also a grey one racing in Belgium) for 2 years already.

But I think Knook did only a few races with this car.

BTW Race 2 is just started. For live streaming see link a couple repies above.

Two very entertaining races, the Zandvoort EuroGT was a success.

The Hart/Huisman battle was absolutely classic! Both cars sliding around, overtaking eachother, brilliant. Awesome race, big success indeed

It's such a shame that the Eurotech LM600s aren't allowed out against the FIA GT/ALMS/LMES runners. It would be very interesting to see how competitive the developed car was against them these days.

In Cor's hands (A much under-rated driver), it's clearly still a fast car and, although it's deviated from the original a bit, it's still a lot closer to a road going sportscar that we can all afford than the Maserati ever will be...

Cheers.

Didn't Marcos go bust a while ago (the roadcar company that is)? I saw pictures of a new Marcos model a few months ago in my car mag but does anyone know what's become of that project to resurrect the company?

The racing cars (LM600 & Mantis) are build by Dutch company Eurotech and Cor Euser's Marcos Racing International. If I am right there are no links between the road car company and the racing activities.
