It was my first time in the car apart from 3 laps at Donington and first time to Hockenheim so as you can imagine, Im very happy with the weekend. Now we can turn the revs up and I can pull my finger out to go faster! Thanks again everyone. Peter
Cool glad you had a good weekend....Also huge thanks for the access you gave me and my university society at the GPLive test day....We were the group who had the picture took with your car......We're doing some of the paddock marshalling at Donington so hopefully see you there

Good to know you were not injured and could run the 2nd race. What about this one, Christian, can you tell us more ?

Again, thanks guys! Nice to meet a great bunch of people who love the F1 cars. I had a lot of support for the Simtek at Hockenheim and it was good to meet all who came by to give such nice words. My race result sheet is still travelling back so I don't have the information yet! Peter.

EuroBOSS@Hockenheim 2007

Hello!
Sorry that the results come not so quickly as you wish, but we had a lot of work in Hockenheim and I had many friends and EuroBOSS fans there which ones wanted to see me!

Spectators: ~35.000
Weather: hot and sunny
Event rating (1-10): 9+

Tavares, D'Aubreby, Hemming, Smith, de Boer could not start because of their problems.

I feel very sad for Jodie, she is such a very friendly and lovely girl, most of the time smiling, always near their car and their team and then the car does not want to work! Fingers crossed for Donington!

Result Race 2:
1. Klaas Zwart
2. Pierre Schroeder
3. Peter Alexander
4. Frits van Eerd
5. Herny Buettner
6. Jean Claude Monbaron
7. Joachim Ryschka

Result with times:
http://www.jimclark-revival.com/file...20Ergebnis.pdf

The first grid of Race 2 were 11 cars.
Klaas Zwart on the back of the grid, because the team had to change the cars!
Therefore Pole pos. for Peter Milavec, second pos. Terry Sayles!
First Start would be break off, Terry Sayles stalled his engine!
Restart with heavy crash between Milavec and Sayles, maybe 30m after the starting line! Driver ok, cars you can see!

Here the photos:

Restart 2 and we lost two more cars in a crash between Colacino and Hansford! Easy win for Klaas!

Klaas Zwart is now leading the EuroBOSS Formula class and Henry Buettner with two HH victories the Masters class!

The most impressive EuroBOSS thing on the whole weekend was for me the driving performance of Peter Alexander! For the first race in this (F1!) car and after only 3 laps at Donington, puhhhh... really impressive (and he is also a very friendly guy)! Peter, see you in Donington!

For Donington probably 20-25 cars!

Looks like a good weekend all in all for EuroBOSS, the series certainly appears to be growing. A big shame for Jodie that the car didnt want to work this weekend, had she got it going she would certainly have been a contender for a podium I think. Still hopefully the team will get everything sorted in time for Donnington, I will be there and am really looking forward to it.

Both cars look repairable although I would doubt we will see them at Donington, was there much damage to Paul Smiths Simtek and Tony Hansfords Arrows?
Why didn't de Boer start the second race?

Mmmhhh, when I have seen the damaged cars... I don't know!
I think the biggest problem has Peter (Milavec), his chassis has a big crack!
From Terry I have heard, that he wants to buy the ex-Mika Salo Tyrrell 023 from Bob Campbell, possibly already for Donington!

Paul and Tony`s car is no big problem, they are surely repairable for Donington!

-Why didn`t Henk (de Boer) start the second race?-
He said in the parc-ferme to Tony not really nice words, maybe it was a little bit too hot for Henk!
Disqualified from the whole event, we will see what happen next!

Disqualifying a driver for a comment made to a fellow driver?

Well thats me finally back home from the trip to Hockenheim, took an extra day and travelled up to Nurburgring to do some HOT laps in the Opel Corsa rental car !
Weather could not have been better except form a few heavy drops of rain at the start of Race 2 that had everyone running for wets.
Fantastic weekend, "H" may have some new sponsors, Test graphics were applied on the car to check position throughout the weekend, final position yet to be decided.
HDB possibly has a deal with "Rocky" biscuits.
Can't wait for Donington. Ding Ding round 2 ! Bring it on

I understand Henk is fitting a Ferrari "Boxer" engine to his Coloni! I think it had a Subaru "boxer" flat 12 in period?
