That's a stupid question! All the usual suspects will be there - myself, Carrie (I think), Lorna, Tracey, Invader, Danielsun, you (presumably!) and maybe RIKB (we finally get to meet ? )

Brilliant!
I'm sure you'll meet us if you hang around by the bar, but i'll PM you my mobile number anyway... Give me a ring when you get there, and we'll sort out a place to meet... Craig. |

Give us credit, Carrie, if we fell asleep, it was only because we'd only had two hours sleep, and had consumed copious amounts of alcohol the night before
Are you still planning on coming down ? I hope so - at least then you can say that you'd been to the old Brands Hatch before it was butchered Oh, and is Schoey coming ? |

I'm still planning to make my way down to Brands, dunno what Schoey's plans are, but I'd imagine he'd be there. After all, he has to keep up his 100% attendance record for this year's BTCC.

Just try and stop me!
Should be there both days with the boy but hubby can only make Monday. Plenty of races this time - 2 Lotus, 2 Fiesta, 2 Lambourgini - what's got into them...... |

Uh oh!
OK, now everyone has said they're coming - will anyone be camping over on Sunday night ? I know Lorna and Tracey said they'll not be, and Schoey couldn't get a long enough tent, but anyone else ? |

I wouldn't mind camping over Sunday night but I have no tent or sleeping bag. Got to get the rest of my stuff out of the ex boyfriend's house on Sunday so won't make it in the day time. It depends what everyone else is doing, if not then I will just travel down in the morning.
Aren't we having a party round yours this time Craig? |

I have a sleeping bag and tent...
Party at my place ? You must be bloody joking!! Ask Dano about the neighbours, and how keen they are on calling the police...!!! Anyway, Invader lives closer to Brands than me. |

100% here we go!
The schoeymobile is fuelled up and ready to go for a Bank Holiday rendevous. So, yes - I'll be there! Not that you'd have thought otherwise! I seem to have been a part of the furniture for most of the races this season (prefer myself as a bit of a sideboard than an occasional table though!)
What do you think I'll get for doing the full season? A free season ticket for next year's races? (unlikely) A guest appearance on cheesy Channel 5 game show '100%'? (possible) Ah, no - I know. I'll probably be locked up for being mentally insane, but then everyone knew that already. With regard to the camping scenario, I'll be in the glorious city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in Geordieland on Saturday pursuing my other passion, so I suspect a Sunday/Monday campfire sing-song is sadly out of the question. Perhaps I'll make Silverstone if someone can find the kingsize tent. Seeya all soon, Pete. (schoey) |

Schoey, I've done a full attendance bar one race meeting and that's because I wasn't introduced to motor racing until after Donington April 97 and there are two things I achieved from it. Going more insane than I was already and being penniless. Keep up the good work

Despite them not allowing us out to play until after the feature race, I will be there for the whole day both Sunday and Monday. So as usual, all and sundry are welcome to come and say hello, just look for the Mark Fish motorsport truck. (No promises I'll be polite to you though huh Danielsun?)
Clios get a staggering 25 laps which is about 22 more than last time we were at Brands so I must admit to getting a touch excited about it all, even though it looks like lap times will be around 53 secs... Promise me you'll all wake up after the slumber inducing Feature race and cheer? (If there were any doubts as to the level of my stupidity, feel free to stand on the outside of Paddock Hill and see how much air I can get under the inside wheels, my personal best in testing was downright terrifying!) Look forward to seeing you all (well most of you) RickP:Clio33 |

See you there Rick (have you made it up with your friend from Donington yet ?? )
So, I presume from the lack of comments, that no-one will be camping then ? |

Carrie
I think you are missing a Lambo race off each end of your timetable, we Clios are after the feature race but there is at least one race after us. Cheers RickP |

We had a discussion about the missing Lambo races last night. Blame HPL, I nicked the timetable off their site

Seat, thanks for reminding me Les. Carrie, if you aren't going, can you send me your seat in the post, it's more comfortable than mine
