I think we should bear with it. There are plenty of BTCC cars ready to run (about half a dozen Astras, a couple of MGs and the GA Alfa) I think drivers will realise that a year in BTCC could prove better value for their sponsors than a year in lets say, GT or F3, and then some late deals will be done.
Until Arenas plans were delayed, and the cracks appeared at in VLR, then this was shaping up to be a high quality field
